Look how they’ve grown!
It’s been 10 years since we took our first booking and I think it’s fair to say that we’ve done a lot of growing since then. In celebration of our 10 years I’ve decided to take a look at some of our most popular resorts to see how much they’ve changed over the years!
Benidorm: This photo on the left was taken in 1958, as you can see the skyscrapers are just starting to grow into what it is today.
Marbella: The photo on the left was taken in the 1960’s, as you can see it’s a far cry from the bustling and glamorous place it is now.
Barcelona: This is a shot of Catalonia Square in 1956 and in 2012 .
New York: As you can see it’s still very clearly New York City but the skyline has certainly changed since this photo in 1931.
Albufeira: The photo on the left is Albufeira old town, taken in 1940, as you can see it’s become a bit busier since then!
Malta: Now this is a really old one! This is St Paul’s Bay in 1905 on the left and as it is today on the right.
Tenerife: This is a snap from 1940 of the infamous Plaza de Espana in Santa Cruz and what it looks like today.
Las Vegas, USA: Downtown Las Vegas is still very much recognisable in 1952 compared to today.
London: Our capital has come a long way since 1950 when this was taken, but I think Piccadilly Circus is still very much recognisable.
Rome: This photo on the left was taken in 1937, as you can see that’s St Peter’s Basilica in the background and is still very much recognisable today.
