If you’re planning your 2012 holiday and are not sure where to stay, it might help you to hear about the top 20 hotels worldwide as voted by you, our customers.

During 2011 we received 145,000 hotel customer reviews and now proudly display over 385,000 in total on the site, with ratings ranging from 1 (very poor) to 10 (spectacular). You can only submit a review once you’ve made your booking and returned home, making our reviews 100% genuine.

This year’s winner – the Aegean Sky Hotel in Malia – is no stranger to the top spot, having been top of the pile in last year’s list too. Even better, this lively and well-loved hotel offers rooms from a finance-friendly £26 per night.
